ARCHITECTURE IN THE ECHO OF TIME
“We aspire to assert ourselves within the landscape. Then we strive to do so in the most measured and balanced way possible. In other words, the building must resonate with its surroundings: earth, stone, wood... whatever the material, it must find its echo in the wider landscape. We also try to broaden our understanding of the context, beyond just the purely visual surroundings. We draw from local techniques and knowledge, each with its own particular, deep-rooted history”.
